Abstract :
Absorption recovery lifetimes of diphenyl butadiene in benzene, cyclohexanol, propylene glycol, and 1, 2-dichloroethane are reported. Recovery lifetimes as short as 65 ps suggest the utility of this compound in UV laser mode-locking applications.
