Abstract :
A balance equation of the charge carrier transport process in the insulator regime (long-time process, time dependent injection, long-time stable space charges) is established. The equation describes the stochastic hopping process between localized levels, having random distribution in space and energy. The specific aspect of the model is the stochastic treatment of the non-equilibrium dynamics of the space charge for the photo-electric and the insulator regimes.
