Abstract :
A stub-alternated microstrip line is proposed for multi-gigabit/second parallel links on a PCB. Without guard traces, the uniformly distributed stub structure eliminates the far-end crosstalk and crosstalk-induced jitter by increasing the mutual capacitance with little change in the mutual inductance. Coupling characteristics were measured and fitted with an empirical equation.
