Abstract :
The eigenfilter approach is extended to design 1D and 2D IIR digital all-pass filters. Instead of the integration of the filter magnitude error, the integration of phase error is minimized such that the design problem can be characterized by an eigenformulation. The stability is obtained by constraining the phase specification
