Abstract
With deep regret the Institute announces the death of Hubert Milo Freeman. Mr. Freeman was connected for a number of years with the Research Department of the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company where he conducted much original tube development work. Early in 1926 he transferred to the Radio Engineering Department of the Westinghouse Lamp Company where he continued to be closely associated with the development and engineering of receiving and transmitting tubes. He has been an Associate member of the Institute of Radio Engineers since 1919 and has served on the Institute´s committees for a number of years. Mr. Freeman passed away at his home in Bloomfield, New Jersey, in March of this year.
