Abstract
The paper presents a new class of interpolators characterized by the property that the mean power of their error sequence, as a function of frequency, approximates zero in the Chebyshev sense. The design method, which is based on some observation and newly found general properties, will be described in some detail. An example shows the special properties of these interpolators in comparison with former results. Measurements done with a practical implementation are presented as well. A design chart for these filters is provided.
