Abstract :
Canonic and noncanonic realizations of a first-order 2-D all-pass network are proposed by exploiting the extraction of a delay element instead of a multiplier. The technique given by Mitra et al. [1] is extended for a 2-D case. The transfer matrix parameters of a digital 2-pair are calculated, from which the realization can be easily obtained by inspection.
