Abstract :
The problem of using the moment method to approximate a power density spectrum by impulses on the jω axis is discussed, it is shown that Prony´s algorithm is suitable for determination of the impulse parameters and that their frequencies are equal to the frequencies of the zeros in a certain analog minimum output power filter. An analogy with Pisarenko spectrum analysis is proposed.
