Abstract
The adaptation of a transmission-line model to the prediction of crosstalk in shielded-wire circuits is presented. The incorporation of pigtail sections of the shielded cable into the transmission-line model is discussed, and the presence of the pigtail wires is shown to be important. Experimental results are presented which illustrate the prediction accuracy of the model.
