Abstract
The coupled-mode analysis of waveguides filled with bianisotropic media is presented. Particular attention is given to structures containing transversely or longitudinally magnetized ferrites. The proposed method is applied to the analysis of a few exemplary microwave waveguiding structures such as ferrite slot- and finlines. An interesting effect of phase shift between slot edges was observed for a longitudinally magnetized ferrite finline.
