Abstract :
The IEEE Harry Fair Medal and Award recognizes outstanding contributions to electromagnetic launch (EML) technology resulting from an individual´s continued leadership in developing programs of research, education, and information exchange that are the basis for progress in EML. The IEEE Harry Fair Award honors those individuals who share his dedication, leadership, and administrative vision for EML technology. They are: Admiral James R. Hogg, USN (Ret); Hon. Jay M. Cohen, Rear Admiral, USN (Ret); Vice Admiral William E. Landay, III USN; Rear Adimral Nevin P. Carr, Jr. USN (Ret); and Rear Admiral Matthew L. Klunder, USN.
