Abstract :
Owing to the fine-granularity and the separation of control and data plane, OBS technology has the potential to support Grid applications. In this letter, a general analytical model is established to analyze the impacts of the influential factors of both TCP and OBS layers on the performance of Grid-OBS networks ail-roundly. The extensive simulation studies are also conducted. Both the analytical and simulation results show the same trends.
