Abstract
This paper presents the results of experimental and numerical studies of the behavior of metallic shaped-charge jets (SCJ) with passage of electric current through them. The possibilities of decreasing or increasing the depth of penetration of shaped-charge jets into targets are discussed. It is shown that the penetration capability of SCJs can be controlled by varying the electric pulse parameters.
