Don´t get lost in GOST standards

This work presents the electrical distribution equipment for the pipeline project and marine terminal installation in prefabricated buildings. The difficulties that occurred during the project and the solutions implemented when applying local regulations and in obtaining GOST-R and GOST-K certification from the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan are described in this article. The marine terminal substation buildings were selected to illustrate the concepts used and the problems encountered during the design, construction, commission, and operation phases.
