Abstract :
A highly efficient method to correct I/Q distortion in a direct conversion receiver based upon applying a suitably chosen pilot sequence over two OFDM symbols is described. It is demonstrated that imperfections from analogue quadrature demodulation as well as channel distortion can be corrected.
