Abstract :
This paper describes the numerical results for the dynamic behavior analysis of a thin plate vibration in magnetic field. The authors of this paper apply the full coupling method and the MMD (Modal magnetic damping) method to the magnetomechanical coupling analysis. The comparison between the results by the two methods shows almost satisfactory agreement and verifies the applicability of the MMD method. The results by the MMD method have the larger values and would give conservative evaluation in structure design in strong magnetic field
