Abstract
A novel TE01δ mode cylindrical dielectric resonator is proposed for the precise determination of the complex permittivity of low-loss ceramics. The radial mode matching technique is used to determine the expressions of the relative permittivity and the loss tangent of the sample. Some measurement results are compared with those obtained by other methods and good agreement is reported.
