  • Abstract
Hearing-impaired people can experience music through vibrations. During this demonstration, the visitors will have the opportunity to live this experience. They will be asked to identify a song, based only on vibrations administered to their fingers. The vibrations consists of ten actuators attached to each finger. Although the device is originally developed to assess tactile memory in keyboard players, the visitors are not required to have any expertise in music. They will be ask to feel the music through vibrations and then listen to three song partitions to judge which one was felt previously with their fingers.
