Abstract
The interaction phenomenon can be analysed with the help of complex torque coefficients k;(j¿) and k;(j¿) for the electrical and the mechanical systems respectively, as explained in Part I of the paper. k;(j¿) is dependent on the network configuration and represents also electrical damping during rotor oscillations. It will now be shown how k;(j¿) can be precisely calculated for any network configuration. For this purpose a frequency scan of the network up to twice the nominal frequency (2fn) must be available.
