  • Abstract
    Ring laser operation is performed at 1.3 mu m using Pr3+-doped fluoride singlemode fibre with a high numerical aperture. The operating wavelength, laser threshold and slope efficiency are 1.2994 mu m, 60 mW and 0.16%, respectively.
