Abstract :
Experimental results show that the turn-on and driving voltages are reduced from 7.7 to 0.3 V and 8 to 5 V respectively, with both O2 plasma and N2 treatments, thus extending the developed organic light-emitting device (OLED) lifetime. The current efficiency (γ) and the power efficiency (η), and thus in turn the output luminance of OLEDs treated by both treatments, are improved about sixfold and tenfold, respectively, under the 2.78 mA/cm2 driving current.
