Abstract :
Wireless Receiver Architectures and Front-end Design in CMOS´ offered an introduction to several popular receiver architectures and key performance parameters for wireless receivers, plus a detailed explanation of the design principles of two important receiver front-end circuits: low-noise amplifier (LNA) and mixer. A second-day session on circuit design focused on techniques that realize high IIP2 mixers and multi-band LNA design and its application to multi-standard receiver systems. Approximately 75 participants attended the short course, which was underwritten by the SSCS Chapter Extra Subsidy Program.
