Abstract :
The theoretical and experimental investigations of transient process of crankshaft´s speed during an engine´s acceleration phase are presented. The analysis of dynamic characteristics of the engine by its velocity characteristic´s correlation function are conducted. The zones where the transient process is quasi-stationary are determined, that allows to determine the engine´s characteristics by statistical way.
