  • Abstract
Media Access Control Mechanism is use to control multiple channel access by multiple users. To remove the drawbacks of MAC, Dual-MAC protocol has been devised in which dual channels are used one for control packets and other for the transmission of data packets. Co-operative Channel MAC is Dual MAC protocol in which two channels working is different; one channel is for directional broadcast and other for data transfer. Simulation has been done on ns2 and result has been analyzed on different parameters like End to End delay, Packet Delivery Ratio, Throughput and Gain.
