Abstract
Cardiovascular function can be evaluated effectively using the heart signals. The Heart Sound plays an important role in diagnosis of various pathological conditions like cavitations, stenosis, and regurgitation. Pathological conditions can be effectively quantified by using enhanced signal processing techniques like wavelet transform. This article deals with the analysis of various wavelet transforms like orthogonal (daubicheus, symlet and coiflet) and biorthogonal (bior and reverse bior) wavelets, which best detects the peak of sound S1. It also analyze the wavelets that quantifies the non-deterministic events that gives greater accuracy.
