Abstract
In the proposed watermarking scheme, watermark is embedded by re-positioning some selected vertices. The selection of vertices for watermark embedding is based on the secure code obtained from a secure image and cryptographic hash function(MD5). Watermarking by re-positioning is attained by restricting the vertex re-positions only by changing ρ component of (ρ,θ,φ) spherical coordinate of vertices. The watermark information is embedded in different segments uniformly throughout the surface of cover mesh object, so that watermark information can be authenticated from any of the segment in case of an attack. The watermarking schemes are designed not only to protect data from unauthorized use but at the same time maintain the quality of watermark object. The proposed work is also tested against distortion and distortion less attacks.
