For pt.2 see ibid., vol.5, no.4, p.191 (1991). It is obvious that computer models of power systems are only as good as the data used. A generator model is often included in these computer models but a good model greatly increases computing time. The author looks at how to obtain the data necessary for computer modelling when designing new generators
