Abstract :
In the framework of the "1000-kV Project", it was agreed between ENEL and Societa Cavi Pirelli to carry out an extensive experimentation on an assembly including a 1100 kV self-contained, oil-filled cable and accessories, with a view to assess the reliability of such system intended for connections in power stations as well as for feeding areas with particular environmental constraints.
