Abstract :
Eventual passivity of an electrical network is defined and discussed. This is a natural generalization of passivity in that a network is called eventually passive if the net power into the memoryless elements is nonnegative outside a bounded set. It is shown that the variables of an eventually passive network are uniformly bounded with respect to time. It is also shown that many nontrivial networks are eventually passive.
