  • Abstract
    The existing major power plants are working at their maximum possible output. Thus, to meet the increase in demand, idea of distributed generation is introduced. It mainly aims to bring the generating station at the consumer´s end. This paper aims to design a Micro-Hydro power plant using an induction motor as a generator. Site selection, design and selection of peripherals and protection measures are few of the project stages.
