  • Abstract
    In considering spot or real-time pricing, many utilities and regulatory bodies are concerned about the costs and reliability of the required communication and metering equipment. They are also concerned about changes that may be required in utility operations to implement spot pricing. The purpose of this paper is to address these concerns about cost, reliability and operational changes.
