Abstract :
A method of measurement of magnetic fields due to lightning discharges using frame aerials has been developed, and a corresponding model to determine its current magnitude is Presented. Comparisons of results of magnitudes and rates of rise of lightning currents thus obtained show good general agreement with previous results, particularly from tropical areas.
