Abstract :
While there is a growing literature on organizational politics (OP), the phenomenon has not been operationalized in a way that can be useful for analyzing the technological innovation process. To address this gap, OP was measured along two dimensions: general innovation-related organizational politics (GIOP) and project-specific organizational politics (PSOP) at the formulation and implementation stages of the technological innovation process. Results support the authors´ contention that OP is a multidimensional phenomenon
