The authors show the decision support value of modeling of supplier delivery-factory shipment activity and the related inventory levels. Naturally, data accuracy is extremely important for accurate model results. Furthermore, model results are mode valid for manufacturing lines that operate under a pull or built-to-sequence environment than otherwise
