Abstract
Nowadays content management systems (CMSs) are widely used to publish information on the Web. Understanding readers´ expectation opens up an opportunity for specific CMSs i.e. CMSs for a specific business domain. The development of specific CMSs includes information requirements that define (i) the information to publish and (ii) the organization of that information. Information organization defines the presentation order of information items based on their importance. This organization is necessary in order to avoid readers from information overload. In this paper we present an approach to information requirements engineering for specific CMSs. The approach consists of information requirements elicitation and prioritization techniques. The elicitation technique defines information items that shall be published. The prioritization technique defines the organization of information items. We illustrate the use of this approach in a case study of an airport CMS.
