Abstract :
Reference is made to a paper by N.J. Mohamed (ibid., vol.29, no.4, p.303-13, 1987). It is claimed that the analytical derivations given include a number of major errors that made it possible for Mohamed to arrive at the closed-form expressions for the antenna energy pattern given by certain equations. The commenting author presents his corrections for Mohamed´s errors and comments on some of Mohamed´s stated conclusions.<>
