Abstract :
An add-drop-multiplexing (ADM) configuration is investigated for 0.8 bit/s/Hz wavelength-division-multiplexing of inverse-RZ signals. Each ADM component is composed of a wavelength interleaver, two tunable filters, and an optical 3 dB coupler. The allowable number of ADM stages can be up to 10.
