Abstract :
Translational vibrations of isolated polarized domain wall in yttrium iron garnet caused by a repetitive pulses of sawtooth driving magnetic field are investigated by inductive technique. The effects associated with the interaction between moving wall and dynamic defects responsible for magnetic after-effect were observed in the real-time signals of the wall velocity. Magnetization loops corresponding to isolated domain wall motion are shown to be of perminvar type at the pulsed sawtooth field excitation and normal type at continuous field. The potential energy profile of the wall which has the form of a narrow asymmetric potential well was determined by numerical processing of experimental data. Resolution of the potential well by vibrating wall was studied using the data at different time delay after the beginning of the field pulses
