Abstract
Some data on the application of superconductivity to magnetic separators are reported with technological parameters achievable with these separators in enriching and purifying some weakly magnetic ores on both the laboratory and commercial scale. The data presented serve as reliable evidence of qualitative and quantitative improvements in enrichment parameters when a superconducting facility capable of generating fields of up to 10 T is applied as a magnetic field source. Attention is given to both high-gradient and volume-gradient magnetic separators
