Abstract :
A hybrid CATV optical link is operated with 58 AM subcarriers and 21 digital subcarriers. Differential quadrature-phase-shift-keyed (DQPSK) transmission suffers only a 2 dB penalty due to clipping distortion when operated at -6 dBm received optical power.<>
