  • Abstract
    Development of a comprehensive computer-aided engineering tool, CAEINST, for assisting the rapid and efficient generation of measuring systems has been taking place for two years. This first report of the work justifies the need, and explains how the system is being structured and what has been learned of the fundamental issues involved in such a task.
