Abstract :
In the Power and Energy Laboratory of INMETRO, a fully automated reference system was developed for the high-precision calibration of wattmeters and watt-hour meters as well as that of energy and power calibrators at power line frequencies. Calibration is fully traceable to national standards; accuracy allows the calibration of even the most advanced commercialized standard instruments. This paper gives an account of the theoretical and practical details of the project.
