  • Abstract
    We design a magnetic field sensor based on coupled 1-D photonic crystal (PhC) cavities using FDTD and FEM simulations. This is a novel application of coupled PhC cavities in magnetic field detection; the estimated resolution is around tens of nano Tesla.
