Abstract :
A ballistocardiogram (BCG) and a high frequency electro-cardiogram (HF-ECG) were recorded from twenty-six volunteer human subjects. Seven of these subjects exhibited abnormal patterns in one (or both) of these signals. Significant matching was found when these signals were used to examine the correspondence of electrical and mechanical events in the heart.
