Abstract :
This issue inaugurates the third year of IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine. The magazine\´s first year was celebrated by the 2007 Industrial Electronics Magazine Best Paper Award, awarded to Ramu Krishnan for the article "An Energy-Efficiency- Enhanced Switched Reluctance Motor." This article, which ran in the "From Mind to Market" column, was published in the fi rst issue of the magazine, and it has been the top downloaded article from the IEEE Xplore digital library.
