Abstract
The regular grid-tied PV inverter control is traditionally based on two reactive loops that regulate separately the input and output ports of the inverter. Usually another thread sets the regulation targets of these loops such that the following goals are met: input power is maximized, output current is sinusoidal and its value balances the input power flow. This paper describes a new way to control such an inverter using a unified approach to meet the inverter goals while optimizing its performance.
