Abstract :
A low cost instrumentation grade FM tape recording system is described. The schematic and circuit details are given and system performance is discussed. The total system consists of the electronics package shown and a choice of several commercially available audio quality recorders. The final system performs in accordance with IRIG standards for bandwidth and signal-to-noise ratio and represents a significant cost advantage over presently available commercial systems.
