Abstract :
An improved iterative method based on refining the equivalent current density at each iteration step is presented for the electromagnetic imaging of lossless or lossy dielectric objects. Numerical results for two-dimensional structures show that the proposed method yields a faster convergence rate than the original ones, where such a refinement is not implemented. A better image resolution is achieved with less computation time
