Abstract
A multiple grid technique for solving electromagnetic field problems using the transmission-line modeling (TLM) method is described. The ideal conversion conditions across the interface between fine and coarse mesh regions are described and the implications of making the approximations needed for a practical implementation are discussed. Simulations are presented showing the accuracy of the method and its benefits in terms of reduced storage and run-time
