Abstract :
The increase in resistance at higher frequencies in rectangular conductors has been studied for microwave applications. Low-frequency approximations are also available. However, no analytical solutions are available for frequencies encountered in switching converters. To bridge the gap, conformal mapping, low frequency series solutions, and asymptotic matching are used to derive a very accurate formula suitable for power foils.<>
